What Can I Do For You?
At the heart of every great video is a story that needs to be told.

I can help you tell your story with video – from concept and development, through to filming and delivery – so you can connect with your audience to fit your brand and personality.

Theatre and The Arts
Art is a lie that makes us realise truth -
Pablo Picasso

I have over 20 years experience working in theatre and the arts, creating trailers and behind the scenes content for arts organisations. I worked for 12 years as the Video Producer for the National Theatre of Scotland, and have also created videos for Scottish Opera, Citizens Theatre, Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh, Eden Court Inverness, Hackney Empire, Good Chance Theatre, Raw Material, Helen Milne Productions, ConFAB, 7:84 Theatre Company, Capital Theatres, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

Documentary
A documentary film-maker can't help but use poetry to tell the story - Chloe Zhao

Documentary is about discovery, and being open – as you investigate with honesty and empathy, the story emerges and becomes clearer.

From behind the scenes vignettes to long-form process documentation, I can help you tell your stories and reach your audience.

Short Film
Short films often contain an originality, a creative freedom, an energy and an invention that is inspiring and entertaining - Kenneth Branagh

I developed and honed my skills and technique through making short films.

I co-wrote, directed and edited the short film, Carry Me Home – a ferry tale, a hopeful and uplifting tale that ebbs and flows through a journey of loss, understanding and acceptance. It won Best Short Film and the Audience Award at the Berlin Short Film Festival in 2022, and was nominated for Best Short Drama at the Celtic Media Festival.

Beauty and The Beef is a hilarious short commissioned by Kevin Brannigan, aka Big Angie, for BBC Scotland’s Short Stuff. It garnered over 550,000 views online.

Post-production
The whole eloquence of cinema is achieved in the editing room - Orson Welles

Editing is a relationship with both the filmed material and the director, built on trust and respect. I have many years of experience being part of a team and working to bring a vision to life.
